All visits include a guided tour of the snail breeding farm with explanations by breeder Virginie Despratx.
You can choose from three tasting options:
Discovery Tour: 6 snail croquettes + 1 glass of white wine or soft drink
Gourmet Tour: 12 snails in croquilles + 1 glass of white wine or soft drink
Prestige Visit: 12 snails (6 croquilles + 6 in shells), parsley ham, gougères, Comté cheese + 1 glass of white wine or soft drink
Each tour also includes insight into the snails’ life cycle, diet, and sustainable farming practices.
Transportation
A wonderful visit with Virginie! How kind! It was so interesting. You could tell she was passionate, attentive, and patient. We had three children with us, and everything went perfectly. And the tasting?! Besides the magnificent scenery, the snails are simply incredible. The recipes are delicious. I've never had such good snails, and they paired so well (with wine and with Virginie, with whom we're still talking). I never go to Burgundy without visiting her and her husband, Olivier. Thank you for this visit! It's the best memory of our stay in Burgundy so far.
