Brilliant visit. Our guide Manon did a fantastic job showing us the cellars and explaining the process of champagne making. She was also very helpful in talking us through the area and giving us its rich history. It was the first of many champagne houses we went to, but its charm stayed with us. The little train journey through the labyrinth of tunnels was super fun. And best of all, was the tasting. The champagne, especially the brut reserve was brilliant. Hopefully we get to come back here again at some point. Highly recommended if you’re in Épernay.
An absolute must-visit in Épernay! The Champagne House is not just a tasting, it's a journey into the world of brilliant marketing, French charm and bubbles that speak for themselves. 18 km of underground cellars, an electric train and a giant barrel that visited the World Exhibition - history is in every sip. And the champagne itself? Light, lively, with character.
Fantastic tour, especially if you have kids and want something to do on a hot day. Train tour of the cellar is a must do when in the area. Book tickets far out!
