Historic Acetaia Visit with Aged Balsamic Tasting
Welcome to one of the few remaining vinegar cellars producing ONLY and EXCLUSIVELY Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P.
Our offer includes a visit with explanation at the Antica Acetaia followed by the tasting of our two products: Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P. minimum 12 years of aging and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P. over 25 years of aging.
You will be welcomed by Mario and Giorgio Gambigliani Zoccoli who will introduce you the history of the family, of the farm, of the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P. and its production techniques. You will continue with a visit to the vinegar factory located in the attic of the Villa where some secrets about tasting and gastronomic use will be revealed to you.
At this point you will be ready to taste the ABTM combined with:
– 1 season of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese DPO
– 2 varieties of ricotta cheese (cow and sheep)
– 2 varieties of vegetables frittata
– focaccia bread
– Lambrusco wine
– homemade dessert
We inform you that we offer a shuttle service leaving from Modena train station 30 minutes before the scheduled beginning of your visit. The service is completely free of charge but has limited availability, if you’re interested contact us at least 24 hours before your experience in order to secure a spot!
