My family and I had the most amazing time visiting at the olive mill and farm! From the beginning, communication with the two young men running the business was clear and informative. They catered our visit to exactly what I was looking for! Fred and Giacomo are beginning to take over this long time family business and are so excited about it - as they’re so happy to be sharing so much about the business and land with their visitors. We took a walk through some of the property, had a lesson on quality oil tasing and oil processing, and ate and drank lots of local foods and drinks. Our visit also included making a multi course dinner with them - including many family recipes. We sat with them for hours and enjoyed every moment of it. This was an absolutely amazing visit and will be recommending this visit to anyone I know that is traveling to Tuscany. I’m looking forward to keeping in touch and wishing them so much success in the next generation of this business!!
The olive oil tasting in Florence was a true journey through the flavors of Tuscany. The hosts were incredibly knowledgeable, explaining the nuances of different EVOO varieties. The fresh, peppery, and smooth flavors of the oils paired beautifully with local bread and cheeses. Highly recommend this for anyone who loves high-quality, artisanal products
