Market Discovery
The culinary adventure begins at one of Palermo’s ancient and vibrant food markets Mercato del Capo. You’ll meet up with our chef, who will lead you through the bustling chaos while exploring the market. You’ll discover the rich history of Sicilian produce and meet the passionate farmers and merchants behind it all. As you sample some mouthwatering treats, you’ll also have the opportunity to shop for items and gifts to bring home. And of course, our chef will shop the freshest ingredients to use together during your cooking class.
Cooking Lesson
Just a short walk from the market is the bright and comfortable cooking studio, where you’ll learn to make three courses, including home made pasta, using that beautiful market produce. With small class sizes (maximum of 8 people), our chef will provide personalized guidance and lead you through an interactive and personalized cooking session. Drawing on her extensive experience as a cooking teacher and recipe developer in Montreal Canada for over 6 years, she will help unleash your inner culinary artist while making it fun and easy to learn new cooking skills.

Priscilla was an amazing tour guide of the food market in Palermo, and helped us create a delicious meal using what we purchased in the market. I learned so many new cooking techniques and dishes that I am excited to try out at home with the flour I purchased from Priscilla, although I might still be full from the meal a week later!
Priscilla hosted a phenomenal Sicilian cooking class. She was very informative about ingredients, sourcing the best ingredients, and technique. She paid exceptional attention to detail through out the cooking experience which made for a fun and enjoyable time. She helped us make Tuna Tartare, Pistachio Pesto Pasta and Whipped Ricotta with Caramelized Peaches! All from scratch! What a treat! Bonus treat she guided us through her favorite local market and pointed out her favorite local vendors, where she sources fresh catch of the day fish, fresh in season produce, spices and much more. Definitely recommend any and all of Priscilla’s experiences!
