This immersive tour offers an authentic journey through the art and tradition of Sicilian olive oil production, featuring the celebrated Nocellara del Belìce cultivar.
You’ll begin your experience at the historic country house, nestled among 2,000 olive trees, where you’ll explore both traditional and modern olive harvesting techniques. Learn directly from the producers how this award-winning extra virgin olive oil is cultivated, pressed, and preserved.
Next, enjoy an in-depth olive oil tasting class, where you’ll discover how to evaluate quality, spot defects, and understand labeling and classifications — a true masterclass in olive oil appreciation.
Then, indulge in a generous Sicilian food tasting lunch in a peaceful rural setting. All dishes are homemade and paired with our olive oil, local wines, and seasonal products. You’ll also hear about the history of the Belìce Valley and the impact of the 1968 earthquake on the land and community.

If you like Italian food and wine, this is well worth an afternoon. Francesco took in into the world of premium olive oil, from his grandparents original grove of 20 olive trees, to the current span of over 2000 trees. The views are some of the best to be found in Val di Bellice. The real star of the show is the food. Be sure to arrive hungry and thirsty. The afternoon was a joy for our group of 12 Americans.
Incredible day at Frank’s farm!! This was some of the best food we tasted during our time in Sicily. This is such a special experience and not to be missed if you are in the area & hoping to learn more about olive farming and olive oil. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!
My husband and I visited while on vacation last month celebrating our 10 year anniversary. Francesco was a wonderful host! We had an amazing day learning, chatting, tasting, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Francesco is a wealth of knowledge and is filled with passion for what he does. The lunch spread was one of the most delicious experiences we had in Sicily and the olive oil is amazing. We bought so much to take home. :) as a matter of fact, I'm almost out ;) Definitely recommend this experience if you are visiting Sicily!!
