Find and Eat…a Tour designed for all Truffle lovers!!
We love the woods, the Truffles and good food! Be prepared to enjoy your day in a peaceful place full of greenery, away from the city chaos. You’ll be able to watch a truffle dog at work in harmony with nature.
We will walk in different types of woods, depending on the period, where you will find unblemished places and beautiful landscapes. You will become real experts, discovering the world of truffles! After the excursion, we will go to a typical Tuscan farmhouse where we will taste the truffles found in traditional Tuscan foods.
It will be an unforgettable day, because you will have learned everything about truffles!
What is included
- After a nice welcome coffee, we will give you a brief introduction on the world of truffles. We will provide you a welcome bag, with truffle hunting tools and we will then leave to go into the woods!
- With the help of the expert dogs, we will arrive to the forest where we will start hunting for truffles.
- We will return to the farm where specialized chefs will cook fresh dishes made with the truffles found. Everything will be accompanied by a good typical local wine.
Fresh truffle tasting menu:
- Starter: cured meats, cheeses, bruschetta with truffles
- First course: gnocchi with butter and truffle
- Second course: fried egg with truffle
- Side dish: seasonal vegetables
- Dessert: fruit or homemade sweets
- Water, white and red wine, coffee
- Depending on your needs, we also offer vegetarian, vegan and celiac-friendly meals.
After a lunch filled with laughter and truffles, we will part and say our goodbyes. Don’t forget to thank and say goodbye the protagonists of the day, the dogs!

Being used to pick mushrooms in Denmark this experience with Federico was really different and exciting. Usually we walk and look for the mushrooms, but here it was the two fantastic dogs, Sally and Arco/Argo who did all the hard work. And they found quite a lot of truffles. Even deep down under a stone. Back at the farmhouse we had the most delicious lunch, off course with our own truffles. We will gladly recommend this experience to everybody. Ciao Peter and Charlotte
This was such an amazing experience with Federico, Argo, and Rex! The dogs are so sweet, cute, and talented, and Federico is so passionate about the dogs and truffles. We learned so much, found a TON of truffles, had fun, AND an amazing meal! What more could you ask for?? This was one of the highlights of our three week trip across central Italy, which is really a testament to Federico’s hospitality. For those wondering about booking, we found that regular tennis shoes and long socks worked very well for the trek – hiking boots might be best, but they are not essential if that is giving you pause
Federico was very enthusiastic and loved sharing his knowledge and passion of truffle hunting and dog training with us. We fell in love with Argo, the canine truffle hunting expert, and Sally, Federico’s eight-month old puppy who tries so hard to find truffles, but is easily distracted (and adorable).
