Guided Olive Grove Visit and Premium EVOO Tasting in Calaceite, Teruel

Immerse yourself in the world of extra-virgin olive oil production at the family-run in Calaceite, Matarraña. Begin with a guided walk through century-old olive groves, where you’ll learn about sustainable cultivation, olive varieties, and harvesting methods. Continue to the micro-mill to witness the extraction process firsthand. The experience culminates in a guided tasting of three EVOOs, paired with selected local products to highlight aroma, texture, and flavour.

We took a tour and tasting, and it was a fun and enriching experience. Marc, a very approachable person, is passionate about the world of olive trees and conveys it perfectly. We bought his Empeltre olive oil; it's delicious. We loved it!

The olive oil tasting is always a fantastic experience. We've done it three times already, each time with different groups of people, and it certainly won't be the last! It never gets old because we always discover something new—whether it's learning, seeing, or tasting. Sara and Marc are wonderful hosts, truly passionate about their beautiful land and the products they create. The tour and tasting are offered in both Spanish and English (by reservation), and all the ceramics, woodwork, and reeds are handcrafted. And last but definitely not least: the olive oil tastes amazing! As you can tell, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Many thanks, Sara and Marc.
