Enjoy a Hiking Alpaca Tour in Mallorca!
In just a short time, these animals have impressed us with their open-mindedness, their curiosity and their intelligence. With their shape and their big, gentle googly eyes, they have completely crept into our hearts. Because of their sensitive but open nature, alpacas are also called “the dolphins of the earth”.
A walk with these animals slows us down and grounds us. Pure relaxation. Because the animals alone set the pace. Or simply experience alpacas up close, feed them and photograph them. A very personal and very special experience
Our alpacas let you relax and forget the stress of everyday life. They slow down with their gentle and calm manner.
Hiking with an alpaca may not be the most strenuous activity. But the number of muscles used certainly exceeds those needed for a session in the gym. Because while you use around 10 muscles when you do a squat, you use 135 when you smile! The appearance of the animals, the sounds they make and the way they explore their environment give their human companions a permanent grin that can only be stopped on the drive home.
You don’t need a 50-page instruction manual to walk alpacas.
Their calm, gentle disposition makes them pleasant companions. But be careful – alpacas are not only socially sensitive herd animals, but also flight animals. Jerky movements and shrill noises can easily scare them away. Therefore, if you want to make true friends with alpacas, you must first earn their trust. And that’s a good exercise for all of us.
And at some point the leash becomes weightless, the feet are freed from gravity, and the walk turns into a meditation. Even young and old can keep up without any problems. A perfect family or after-work outing.
The tour lasts approximately one hour. Back at the stable, the alpacas can be fed and photos taken. Total duration: approx. 90 to 120 minutes depending on the number of participants.

After such an amazing morning, I’d 100% recommend this experience to anyone. We travelled for a hen party - the bride being an alpaca lover meant we HAD to do this. Iris was sooooo accommodating and went above and beyond to enhance our day. The alpacas are super friendly as well as being mega cute. Thank you so much for the best time. It was unique to see the animals so close. Before picnic we were allowed to feed the alpacas and shower them with a hose... but only if the animals wanted it... One even lay down in the tub and enjoyed the cool water. Afterwards our food came and it was really pleasant and quiet to eat near the animals and watch them... and I have to say they are all well behaved. Nobody wanted anything from our plate. We had a wonderful, individual experience with the sweet alpacas that we will definitely remember for a long time. Great to have learned more about their "quirks" and feeding them and showering them and seeing them slowly getting closer. And Iris is a very attentive and loving alpaca "mom".
