Welcome to the official websites of Farmer Experience, including but not limited to www.portugalfarmexperience.com, www.farmexperiencestours.com, and www.portugalfarmexperiences.com (hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Site”).
Farmer Experience is a privately held company registered under Portuguese law, with its head office located at Praceta da Rua da Tabaqueira A2 (WorkHub), Lisbon, Portugal. By accessing, browsing, registering on, or booking through the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement, as well as our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices or guidelines made available on the Site.
This Agreement applies to all users of the Platform, including without limitation visitors, registered users, and customers who engage with the services or make bookings.

Farmer Experience operates as an online platform that enables users to discover, book, and enjoy authentic rural, cultural, and gastronomic experiences across various regions of Europe, specifically in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and France.
Through the Site, we connect users with a network of trusted local experience providers, including farms, vineyards, artisanal producers, and culinary hosts. These providers deliver immersive activities such as farm tours, olive oil tastings, wine and cheese experiences, hands-on workshops, and other cultural offerings rooted in local traditions and agriculture.
Farmer Experience acts solely as an intermediary between the user and the local provider. We facilitate the booking process, offer detailed descriptions of each experience, and ensure the accuracy of the information published on the Site, based on the content supplied by the providers.
The services offered through our Site include (but are not limited to):
-
Access to curated listings of rural and gastronomic experiences;
-
Online booking and secure payment functionality;
-
Communication support between users and providers;
-
Customer service and assistance before, during, or after an experience.
Farmer Experience does not directly operate or manage the experiences themselves and is not responsible for their on-site execution. Each local provider is solely responsible for delivering the experience as described and for ensuring compliance with all relevant local laws, safety standards, and regulations.
By using the Site and booking through our platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
-
The contract for the delivery of the experience is formed directly between you and the local provider;
-
Farmer Experience is not a party to that contract, and its liability is limited to the scope of its role as a booking intermediary, as defined in these Terms.
-
-
Access to the Site and use of the services provided by Farmer Experience is available to any individual or legal entity who agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
By accessing, browsing, registering, or booking on the Platform, you confirm and agree that:
-
You are at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction;
-
You possess the legal capacity and authority to enter into binding agreements on your own behalf or on behalf of any other individuals included in a booking;
-
You will use the Site only for lawful purposes, in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations;
-
All personal and booking information provided by you is truthful, accurate, current, and complete.
If you create an account on our Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or breach of security.
You further agree not to:
-
Use the Site for fraudulent or commercial purposes without our prior written consent;
-
Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any part of the Site or services without express permission;
-
Interfere with or attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the Site, including its security or technical infrastructure;
-
Use any automated systems (e.g., bots, scrapers) to extract data or access content without authorization.
Farmer Experience reserves the right to suspend or permanently disable access to any user who violates these Terms or engages in behavior deemed harmful, abusive, or unlawful.

Farmer Experience provides an online platform that allows users to book curated rural and gastronomic experiences offered by independent local providers. The booking process is designed to be clear and secure for both users and partners.
4.1 Booking Confirmation
By selecting an experience and completing the booking process through the Site, you are making a binding offer to purchase the selected service from the local provider. A contract is only formed once you receive an official booking confirmation from us via email or through your user account.
You are responsible for reviewing all details, terms, and conditions associated with the experience before confirming your booking, including:
-
The date and time of the experience;
-
The number of participants;
-
Any age, health, or eligibility requirements;
-
The experience location and duration;
-
What is included or not included in the experience.
4.2 Contractual Relationship
When you make a booking, you enter into two distinct contractual relationships:
-
A booking facilitation agreement with Farmer Experience, governed by these Terms and Conditions;
-
A service delivery agreement with the local provider, who is solely responsible for delivering the experience as described.
Farmer Experience is not a party to the experience delivery contract and is not liable for its execution, except where otherwise provided in these Terms.
4.3 Changes to Bookings
Requests to change the details of a confirmed booking (such as date, time, or participant information) must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability and the provider’s approval. Additional fees may apply in the case of upgrades or late modification requests.
4.4 Booking Rejection or Cancellation
Farmer Experience and/or the local provider reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking for valid reasons, including but not limited to:
-
Unavailability of the provider on the selected date;
-
Errors in pricing or description;
-
Safety concerns or force majeure events;
-
Suspicion of fraudulent or abusive behavior.
In such cases, you will be notified promptly and offered a partial refund or an alternative solution when possible.
-
-
Farmer Experience offers access to a wide selection of authentic rural, gastronomic, and cultural experiences, provided by independent local partners. These include, but are not limited to, farm visits, tastings, cooking classes, agricultural tours, and workshops.
5.1 Service Descriptions
Each experience listed on the Site is presented with a detailed description that may include:

-

The local provider is solely responsible for:
-
Delivering the experience as described on the Site;
-
Ensuring the safety, legality, and quality of the activity;

5.2.1 – Insurance and On-site Safety Responsibility
The local provider (farm) is fully responsible for ensuring that their premises, facilities, and services comply with applicable health, safety, and insurance regulations in their country of operation. Farmer Experience does not inspect, certify, or assume liability for the safety or legal compliance of individual providers.
It is the sole responsibility of the provider to maintain valid liability insurance where required by law. Users participate in experiences at their own risk, and are expected to follow all safety instructions given by the provider.
5.3 User Conduct During Experiences
Participants are expected to:
-
Respect the provider’s property, staff, and instructions at all times;
-
Arrive punctually at the designated meeting point;
-
Refrain from disruptive or unsafe behavior;
-
Inform the provider in advance of any allergies, dietary needs, or health conditions relevant to the experience.
Providers reserve the right to refuse participation or ask individuals to leave if their behavior compromises the safety or enjoyment of others, or violates the rules of the activity.
5.4 Changes Due to Operational Circumstances
Providers may occasionally need to make minor changes to the content or sequence of an experience due to weather conditions, farming schedules, seasonal factors, or operational adjustments. These changes do not entitle the user to a refund unless the core value of the experience is substantially altered.

-
6.1 Pricing

Farmer Experience makes every effort to ensure that prices are clearly displayed and updated, but reserves the right to correct any unintentional pricing errors or omissions.
