Enjoy a traditional Bistecca alla Fiorentina steak lunch

The Bistecca alla Fiorentina is one of Italy’s most celebrated dishes — a thick-cut T-bone steak from Chianina cattle, served rare and seasoned with nothing more than olive oil, salt, and pepper. At this Tuscan winery near San Gimignano, it takes centre stage as the main course of a four-course lunch, paired with wines selected specifically to complement its depth and character. The session opens with antipasti and a guided tasting of 10 wines, including Brunello di Montalcino DOCG and three Super Tuscan blends, moves through truffle lasagna or ribollita, and arrives at the Fiorentina before closing with cantuccini. A 90-minute experience available year-round, with dietary alternatives on request.

Highlights

Bistecca alla Fiorentina at the Centre of the Table. Tuscany’s most iconic steak — thick-cut, served rare, and paired with the estate’s finest reds — is the reason to book this lunch over any other in the portfolio.

The Perfect Red Wine Pairing. The Fiorentina calls for powerful, structured reds, and the guided tasting of Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti Classico, and three Super Tuscan blends delivers exactly that — wines built to stand up to one of Italy’s greatest dishes.

Four Courses, One Iconic Dish. Antipasti, primo, the Fiorentina, and cantuccini — a complete, well-paced Tuscan lunch where the steak earns its place as the centerpiece rather than an afterthought.

10 Wines, Three Olive Oils, One Table. The tasting is guided throughout the meal, covering the estate’s full range from Vernaccia DOCG to Brunello, alongside three olive oil expressions and a Balsamic Vinegar Gold Reserve.

Available All Year. Unlike seasonal harvest or outdoor experiences, this lunch runs year-round — an ideal anchor for any Tuscany itinerary that puts food first.

Highly recommended!!! electrolina1

A beautiful winery with a very unique atmosphere — truly a typical Tuscan experience. The place itself is stunning and feels quite luxurious. The owner was very kind and gave us a guided tour, explaining everything about the wines. All the products were excellent and of very high quality. They also offer accommodation, which looked very stylish, although we didn’t stay there. Highly recommended — a wonderful experience overall.
