Enjoy a Salerno Pizza Cooking Class!

After having welcomed the guests and described how they will spend the time dedicated to the experience, we will go to the garden area where the big wood oven of the house is located. It is placed under a large pergola covered with fragrant jasmine!

Our guests will wear their aprons and will actively participate in the whole process dedicated to the preparation of pizza and then tiramisu.

We will begin by explaining them the history of Neapolitan pizza and in particular of the famous ‘pizza Margherita’, we will illustrate the necessary ingredients with the relative quantities for the preparation of the dough and for its leavening. At this point, we will pass to the practical lesson.

We will prepare and knead the pizza dough and put it to leaven while also preparing all the necessary ingredients for the different flavours: pizza with mozzarella, tomato, basil, extra virgin olive oil, garlic, oregano, etc …!

Before rolling the dough and putting it into the oven together, we will prepare one of the most famous Italian desserts, that is TIRAMISÚ!

Our guests will then finally taste what we have prepared with beer or wine!

Inform me about any allergies and intolerances so that we can make you feel at ease! Wear comfortable clothes to bake pizza with us and prepare for a moment of joy. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome

Pizza cooking class
5 stars. Great value for money! Jay

If Stefania had a shop where she sold her homemade olive oil, red wine, and vegetables, we would buy from her in an instant. Such amazingly fresh ingredients. The experience was fantastic and a definite highlight of our trip. Stefania arranged transport to and from her beautiful home. There were three of us in a group and we enjoyed making the tiramisu and pizza from scratch in her outside kitchen area and pizza oven, and Stefania was a very knowledgable teacher who made us feel very welcome in her home. We loved eating the food we cooked, and she even let us try some additional homemade zucchini and ricotta pastry she had, providing us with a choice of red wine or beer (choose the red wine - it was delicious), all with the view of the Salerno valleys and her swimming pool. We didn’t want to leave! We finished with full and very happy stomachs. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stefania (and her dog Ketty!) and this cooking course. 5 stars. Great value for money.

Fabulous experience! Patti

It was a fabulous location with a view overlooking Salerno. We started with a little history. We moved to a cute outdoor kitchen where the pizza oven was. First we made homemade Tiramisu. (It has to chill) Next we learned how to make the dough. Stefania and he father-in-law show us how they worked and managed the heat (700 degrees!!) in the pizza oven. We each got to make a pizza and learn how to use the paddles to put it in the oven and turn it. Two minutes is all it takes! Stefania then seated us by the beautiful pool. She remade fresh pizzas so she could serve us hot fresh pizzas. We had homemade wine from their grapes! Topping off this wonderful afternoon with our homemade tiramisu and homemade limoncello. Perfect Day and host! Thank you Stefania

I would highly recommend! Rebecca

Stefania was a lovely guest and her home was just beautiful. Her short class was so informative and we learned some history about Margherita pizza. At the end we were able to enjoy our pizza and tiramisu complemented with her homemade wine, olive oil and limoncello. I would HIGHLY recommend. Grazie mille, Stefania!
