Take part in a truly authentic and unforgettable experience, filled with discovery, nature, and tradition. Set in the heart of the Piedmont countryside, this hands-on truffle experience invites you to slow down, awaken your senses, and connect deeply with the land.

You will join me, my trained truffle dog Gemma, and my fellow truffle hunter Santo, accompanied by his experienced dog Vasco, for an introduction to the magical and mysterious world of truffles. As you walk through the forest, you’ll learn about the history, seasonal cycles, and techniques behind truffle hunting, while watching the dogs in action as they search for these precious gastronomic treasures.

After the hunt, the experience continues with a traditional lunch, where you’ll enjoy local Piedmont dishes, often featuring freshly found truffles, paired with regional flavors. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the hunt and savor the richness of local cuisine in a warm and convivial atmosphere.

This experience is ideal for food lovers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone curious to discover one of Italy’s most fascinating culinary traditions—just a short distance from Turin.

What is included

• first we will meet in Torino and we will take you to our secret places out of the city in the forest.
• we will give you an introduction to truffles, where they grow, qualities and rules about searching them.
• we will be walking and searching for truffles, (white or black depending on the season) in the forest with the help of our beloved, talented dogs Gemma and Vasco.
• You will actively take part in the truffle hunt, learn how to recognise truffles and how to dig them up
• we will have a lunch in a typical Italian trattoria.
