Olive Oil Tasting Experience – Advanced EVOO Sensory Workshop
We offer an introductory activity to the organoleptic analysis of EVOOs in our certified professional tasting room, following the basic principles of a formal tasting process but with a friendly and approachable approach, without losing the rigor necessary to assess the characteristics of EVOOs.
We’ll begin with a general introduction to the world of EVOO and its characteristics, then move on to tasting eight samples using professional criteria. Participants will conduct blind tastings, focusing on four aspects: production, the specific tasting process for each sample, the factors that characterize its quality, and negative attributes that should not be mentioned.
The entire activity is presented as a sensory game centered around the oily juice of our local varieties, a game with surprises based on sensory abilities to learn about EVOOs, and in which no prior knowledge is required to participate.
