Experience: Guided Segway Route & Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting

Embark on a unique oleotourism adventure in the scenic olive groves of the Matarraña region around Calaceite. Ride a Segway through centuries-old olive trees—including a singular 853-year-old olive—and explore the village’s historic corners with expert local guides. The experience culminates with a guided tasting of three premium extra virgin olive oils (EVOO), paired with gourmet products to highlight their flavours and textures. A seamless blend of nature, culture & gastronomy.

We took a tour and tasting, and it was a fun and enriching experience. Marc, a very approachable person, is passionate about the world of olive trees and conveys it perfectly. We bought his Empeltre olive oil; it's delicious. We loved it!

The olive oil tasting is always a fantastic experience. We've done it three times already, each time with different groups of people, and it certainly won't be the last! It never gets old because we always discover something new—whether it's learning, seeing, or tasting. Sara and Marc are wonderful hosts, truly passionate about their beautiful land and the products they create. The tour and tasting are offered in both Spanish and English (by reservation), and all the ceramics, woodwork, and reeds are handcrafted. And last but definitely not least: the olive oil tastes amazing! As you can tell, I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Many thanks, Sara and Marc.
